March Update

Hello Cinnamon Cove Friends,

Monday’s Master Board meeting was well attended.

            Some items of interest:

·           Mike Richard, treasurer, reports Cinnamon Cove is in very good financial status.  Shortly you will be receiving a postcard informing you about the financials and your ability to review them.

·           It was noted in the President’s Report that a call for volunteers will be going out soon.  That will happen after the heart of the season is past us.  Looking for painters again, folks to help clean the clubhouse tables and general upkeep items.

·           Someone who borrowed the paint for their use did not return the three brushes.  Those are very good brushes with CCMA printed on them.  If you forgot to return them, please put them in the mechanical room.

·           Sometime in the near future, probably in May or early June, Caravel Circle from Building 3 to Building 12 will be seal coated.  This process is necessary to protect the paving that was laid down last Spring.  You will be notified in plenty of time for your planning.

·           If you are a new owner or a long-time owner who has not submitted your name, address and phone number to the office for the annual phone book, please do so.  Jeanne Hopkins likes to get this completed by mid April.  Phone number is 239-466-7727 or email to cinnamoncove@embarqmail.com.  If you know of former owners who are still listed, please let Jeanne know as well.

·           Thanks again to the three men who repaired more pool chairs.  It’s that kind of volunteer job that saves the association a bunch of money.

·           New partitions for Rooms A & B have been ordered and will be installed soon.

Don’t forget, if you notice something around The Cove that needs attention, please call Liz Leden
at  239-454-3525 ext. 113.

Have a great Spring and Easter, and if you are traveling anytime soon, please have a safe journey.
